Connected & Intelligent cars rely more and more on ADAS systems that provide safety and convenience. Implementations of ADAS features vary and we would like to explore open source based approach implementing and integrating ADAS features. The ADAS features vary in required interfaces, complexity and level of required safety standardisation defined in ASIL. Integration of ADAS features to Linux based automotive computers is essential for success of platform.

The presentation will cover requirements placed by ADAS features and available implementations to meet them. The ADAS features require support in areas of real-time capability, cybersecurity, communication interfaces, multimedia, user interfaces, simulation testbeds, processes and system architecture. By using open solutions, the ADAS features can be developed and rolled out to the market quicker and more cost-efficiently.
